About Blackburn Land Service

Reclaiming Overgrown Land in Southern Illinois

Why I Started Blackburn Land Service

Reclaiming Overgrown Land. Restoring Its Potential.

I started Blackburn Land Service because I saw firsthand how fast overgrown brush and invasive growth can take over a property. Like a lot of Southern Illinois landowners, I watched ground that was once open and enjoyable disappear under thick brush, vines and unwanted growth. Taking my own land back is what put this machine in the woods.

The equipment matches the job: a tracked skid steer with a forestry mulching head, plus a limb saw, a grapple and a tree shear. Growth gets ground into clean mulch right where it stands. Stumps come down to grade. The trees you want to keep stay standing, and nothing gets piled or burned.

Whether it is park-like woods, a reopened trail, a shooting lane or a field pulled back from the brush, every project is a chance to turn overgrown ground into something useful again. I treat each property with the same care I put into my own land. Call or text (618) 697-5190 and the estimate is free.

What We Believe

Three Rules We Don't Break

Clear Communication

If a tree is too big for the mulcher, or a job belongs to a different kind of contractor, you hear it at the estimate. You always know what the machine can do and what it cannot.

Fair Pricing

Free estimates and a clear price before any work starts. The number we give you for the ground is the number, and it does not move unless you change the plan.

Leave It Clean

No burn piles, no debris heaps, no torn-up ground. The growth gets ground into mulch in place, and the job is done when the ground looks the way you pictured it.

Why Choose Blackburn Land Service
