What services do you offer?
Forestry mulching is the core of it: grinding brush, saplings and small trees into mulch right where they stand. Around that we do land clearing, brush clearing on fields and fence lines, trail cutting for ATV and walking access, and hunting property work like shooting lanes and access trails. We do not do dirt work, stump removal or tree service.
What is forestry mulching, exactly?
A tracked skid steer with a mulching head cuts standing brush, saplings and small trees and grinds them into wood chips in one pass. Nothing gets hauled and nothing gets burned. The chips stay on the ground as a mulch layer that slows regrowth and holds the soil. Stumps get cut down to grade level as the machine works.
How is that different from bulldozer land clearing?
A dozer works from the roots up. It pushes the growth out, tears the topsoil with it, and leaves piles that get burned or hauled. Mulching cuts at the surface instead: the ground stays intact, the debris becomes ground cover on the spot, and the land is usable the same day. If a job truly needs excavation, we will tell you it is a different kind of job.
How big of a tree can the machine handle?
The mulching head is built for brush, saplings and small trees. Bigger trees are a tree service call, and we say so at the estimate. For low or damaged limbs on trees you keep, the limb saw cuts them clean and we mulch them on the ground. A tree shear handles single stems in tight spots between keeper trees.
Do you haul the material away?
No hauling is needed. The growth is ground into wood chips where it stands and the chips stay spread on the ground. That is the point of the method: no burn piles, no trucks running back and forth, no bare scars. If you want some material kept, the grapple can stack it in a pile instead.
How much will my project cost?
It depends on how thick the growth is, how much ground you have, and the access. That is why estimates are free: we come look at the property, talk through what you want it to become, and give you a clear price before the machine moves. Small jobs are welcome, from a single lane to a full field.
